I like design, all types. I also like technology. I particularly like those bits inbetween where those two meet.
Way, Way Back
I began tinkering with Photoshop and HTML early in high school. It was during this time that Chris Messina and myself started a semi-serious, short-lived web design company. After high school I attended SNHU and recieved a BA in Information Technology.
Working Days
In the years following my graduation, I worked as both a designer and developer for various companies: wedü, 3000K, and Meridias Capital.
About This Site
This site is where I collect my blog posts, photos, and projects. I used to have blog at HuddleTogether.com, where I rarely posted. I hope to do slightly better here. If all goes well, you can expect a post about every ten days, with the focus being on user interface design and development.
Site Specs
This site uses Wordpress 2.2 and a custom built theme.
The previous Wordpress theme I built for HuddleTogether.com has been released publically under the name, Qwilm.
Current Work
I'm working on a redesign of SciLink, a social networking site for scientists.
I'm working with a new startup, Taggart Software, to build a web-based solution for the mortgage industry. I am working with their team to develop the user interface.
I am still maintaining and supporting my two open-source scripts for displaying and overlaying images: Lightbox and Lightbox v2.
Also, there are two secret projects I'm working on, one more ridiculous than the other. I will post about them on the blog at a later time.
